Collage on paper towel wrapper with colored pencil.  In the morning,

on my way into work my cast shadow is so tall that it looks like I'm

wearing stilts.  I have been making collages on the brown paper the
paper towels come in.  I guess they are "school grade" paper towels
or the kind one would find in many institutional settings. 
We go through a lot of paper towels in a school year in the art room.





When I was 17, I was in a band and there were lots of other bands around and it was an amazing time and now my friend Mike has written about it all. Wow!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Here is my Valentine card for 2013. It is  based on the view I see as
I leave work each day because that is the time of day when I get to go home
to see my husband and  our son (my favorite time of day).
